[Gist] I am not a woman beater” – Man in viral proposal video cries out

Yesterday, a video which went viral on social media, shows a young man assaulting his girlfriend and removing her wig after she rejected his marriage proposal in public.
However, the young man identified as Joseph in the viral video has now come out to rubbish claims that his a woman beater.

According to the man, the video was just a prank for the English and Literature Students Association stage play.

“I am not a woman beater, the video was just a publicity stunt for the English and Literature Students Association stage play” he said.
