A 50-year-old woman has stunned the internet with her youthful looks after her pictures surfaced on social media.

Photos of the beautiful lady was posted online on her 50th birthday, and fans can’t stop complementing about how she looks much younger than her age.

Meet Nyakim Gatwech, the South Sudanese descent African American model who’s teaching people not to be afraid of the dark. With her deeply pigmented skin and fierce determination, the dark skin model is breaking down the barriers of conventional beauty and encouraging others to do the same.

The 24-year-old African model and fashion icon, who now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has no shame about her melanin, and she makes sure the world is aware. “My chocolate is elegant. So is what I represent… A nation of warriors,” she captioned one of her many Instagram photos, which routinely exceed 10 thousand likes each. In another, she details an experience in which an Uber driver suggested she try ‘bleaching’ her skin – and her only response was laughter. “You won’t believe the kind of questions I get and the kind of looks I get for having this skin.”

Gatwech is not only an advocate for diversity in the fashion industry but also a voice for Black rights around the world. She’s even been dubbed “Queen of Darkness,” a title she happily accepts. “Black is bold, black is beautiful, black is gold… Don’t let American standards damage your African soul.” Love the skin you live in, no matter what color or shade it may be!

Memories...BIANCA ONOH WINS MISS DRUZHBA @ THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY PAGEANT IN RUSSIA.

This was one of the five international beauty pageants I contested in as Nigeria’s National Beauty Queen.

It was the Soviet era, and this was the first international beauty pageant to take place in Russia just after the first ever official and government approved national beauty pageant - Miss USSR had taken place in the spring of 1988. This International pageant was called Miss Ocharovaniye in Russian, which means Miss ‘Charm’.

It was the era of Gorbachev, Glasnost and Perestroika, and the year that changed everything in international politics; the year of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the beginning of the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the overthrow of Communist rule throughout Eastern Europe and the end of the Cold War.

The pageant took place at the Cosmos in Moscow and was attended by beauty queens from all over the world. I represented Nigeria, it was my first trip to Russia and Yes, it was cold!
It was almost like a national event was taking place in Moscow and Russians were glued to their TV screens. I won the MISS DRUZHBA title and made some nice friends, including Miss Singapore who was later to invite me on an unforgettable ‘Royal Visit’ to Singapore, Miss Israel and Miss Turkey, who clinched the Diadem, and the hilarious Miss Greece. Marvelous Experience!
