The Police in Katsina have arrested one Abdullahi Sani of Jabiri area, for allegedly raping a three year-old girl to death.
The police spokesman in the state, DSP Gambo Isah, in a statement on Monday, said Sani was arrested on October, 12. Sani allegedly lured the toddler to an uncompleted building and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The little girl was said to have sustained serious injuries from the act and was rushed to Funtua General hospital where she died the following day. Sani was said to have confessed to the crime.
